"ArteSumapaz is a residency with artists from all over the world, from many different cultures and backgrounds. In the past year, we found ourselves in a position to strengthen how we communicate our core values and to better enact processes for conflict resolution. Josie's assisted during this critical moment; their expertise in communication and consent was invaluable in identifying our intentions as an artist residency and how we will enact our duty of care to artists. Josie also supported us to collect and collate resources which we provide to artists in residence, to offer criticality and contemporary dialogues within their artistic practices. Through the ideas and support Josie offered our leadership team, we are further equipped to fulfill our mission as both an artist residency program and intentional community."
